The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has launched a comprehensive user safety campaign for Side-by-Side Vehicle users.
Championed by the Off-Highway Vehicles Group within the FCAI, the campaign addresses the safe use of Side-by-Side vehicles and focuses on five critical areas:
1. Always wear a helmet;
2. Use nets and doors properly;
3. Wear your seat belt;
4. Don’t overload your Side-by-Side;
5. Ride to conditions.
The FCAI and members BRP, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris and Yamaha jointly commissioned the development and deployment of this long-term, multi-platform, safety campaign which began on 21 October.
FCAI Chief Executive Tony Weber said the campaign would target the simple, but vitally important steps and measures that drivers should be adopting when using these popular vehicles.
With safety messaging across a dedicated website, television commercials and social media assets, the FCAI and its members are looking to ensure that the messaging and advice reaches a broad audience.
