The Sports Utility Market is up by 1.2 per cent on May 2023 while the Light Commercial market is up by 6.3 per cent on last year’s figures. Passenger vehicles totalled 21,252 vehicles sold, an increase of 17.3 per cent on May 2023 figures.

In 2024, a total of 512,753 new vehicles have been delivered in Australia. This is an increase of 12.24 per cent compared to the same time last year. To date, SUVs have claimed 55.7 per cent of the market, Light Commercial Vehicles 22.2 per cent and passenger vehicles 17.9 per cent.
