Denso Australia Group has won the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) Supplier of the Year Award for 2008.
The prestigious event was held in Melbourne on November 26 and hosted by the FCAI’s President, Mr Mark Reuss with guest of honour, the Treasurer of Victoria, Mr John Lenders MP (Mr Reuss’ speech link).
Mr Reuss presented the award to Denso Australia Group’s Managing Director’s, Neil Kitamiya and Russell Pettis.
This is the second year in a row that Denso Australia Group has taken out the coveted award and they faced strong competition from the four other finalists, who each received a certificate of recognition for their hard work and achievements.
Denso Australia Group design and supply a wide range of components including air conditioning and engine cooling systems, diesel fuel injection systems, air intake systems and instrument clusters.
The awards were instigated by the vehicle manufacturers to encourage suppliers to perform at the highest possible level in terms of product development, quality, timely delivery, competitive pricing and product management.
The Purchasing and Supply Director’s of Ford, GM Holden and Toyota have the task of judging the Supplier of the Year nominees.

Mett Pty Ltd maintains a state-of-the-art high pressure aluminium die-casting facility. They also provide the automotive industry with precision and high speed CNC machining, product assembly and testing.
