On Wednesday 7 December, Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries President Mike Devereux will address the National Press Club of Australia in Canberra. This will be the first time since 1979 that the national body representing motor vehicle manufacturers and importers has had the opportunity to deliver an address to this distinguished forum.
Mr Devereux, who is also Chairman and Managing Director of GM Holden, will discuss the outlook for automotive manufacturing in Australia and explain why it is so important that Australia remains one of just 13 countries in the world that can design, engineer and manufacture motor vehicles.
FCAI members are most welcome to attend this important event. The address will also be attended by members of the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery, political and departmental staff, and other industry representatives.
A booking form to attend the luncheon address can be found here.
